Guesthouse Relaxed Tours

We, Tanja and Chris, would like to give you a nice time in our holiday home - a historic half-timbered house - and bring you closer to the extraordinary nature of the North Eifel.

MTB tours and mountain bike rental

In addition to renting our two holiday apartments and group accommodation, we started our guesthouse in March 2023, offering mountain bike rentals, guided mountain bike tours and guided hikes.

On request, our tour days include breakfast together, the tour and a subsequent dinner. We design the tours according to the wishes of the participants. Our priority is to experience nature in a relaxed manner in the community. Our food is creatively prepared by us exclusively from regional, organic raw materials. Sustainability is our top priority. Tenants of our holiday apartments can also eat with us and enjoy the community on the tour days, independently of participating in a tour. The "Guesthouse-Relaxed-Tours" holiday home was built in 1913 and initially served as a banquet hall for the Monschau society. Later it was used as a gym. The previous owner of the house renovated it lovingly and with great attention to detail. Original items from the gym can be found throughout the building, some of which have been converted into furniture.

Our guesthouse is an ideal starting point for numerous hikes and bicycle or mountain bike tours. In the evening, the old town of Monschau, which can be reached on foot in a few minutes, invites you to stroll. And you can end the evening in one of the numerous restaurants with rustic terraces.
